I actually had this shirt made for me by a club called GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) in school.

WHOO! Go GSA! I'm the Vice Pres. of mine. I'm pretty sure the same thing would happen at my school if we wore shirts like that. We get a lot of negative feedback.

haha, thanks. oh man, you scared me for a second there, haha. would you believe we're actually not allowed to wear them in school even though it was made in school? some fartface decided to wear a similar but negative shirt (no one would let us know what it said...and probably for the kid's health). the principals made him take it off and his rebuttal was "well, if gsa is allowed to wear 'the same shirt' then why cant I?" now, these shirts are banned. what a bunch of nerds, huh?

I would simply posit to them, as I'm sure you have, that these shirts are uniters, not dividers.

It's sad that so many schools have that policy. Really, they use anti-harassment policies as a means to put down something as non-harassing as this. When someone wears a shirt like this, it's not going to make anyone's day any worse having seen it, they're not going to feel hurt emotionally. When someone wears a "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve" shirt, it's genuinely hurtful and that is the sole purpose. I dunno, my 2c.
